Terms & Conditions

A non-refundable payment is required to secure your session date. Once payment is received, your session date is confirmed and these Terms & Conditions are accepted.

Reserving a package without a confirmed date still locks in your chosen package and rate. You can schedule the session later through our calendar or by contacting us directly.

All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD). Should Ryora Studio become GST-registered, the updated pricing applies to new bookings only. Existing confirmed sessions remain at the agreed rate.

Need to reschedule? Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice and we’ll gladly arrange another time. Illness or poor weather can be rescheduled at no extra cost.

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice—or a no-show—mean the booking fee is forfeited. If Ryora Studio must reschedule due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, you’ll be offered the next suitable date.

Sessions start promptly at the scheduled time. Arriving late may reduce the session length to keep other bookings running smoothly.

Please arrive prepared—especially for outdoor sessions where light changes quickly. While we create a relaxed atmosphere, Ryora Studio isn’t responsible for limited images due to lateness, uncooperative behaviour, or circumstances beyond our control.

Every selected image is professionally edited in Ryora Studio’s signature style—colour correction, cropping, and light retouching included. Complex edits outside these adjustments may incur a small fee.

Final, high-resolution digitals are delivered via a private online gallery within 2–3 weeks of the session. Raw or unedited files are never supplied.

Ryora Studio retains full copyright of all session images. Clients receive personal-use rights, allowing printing, sharing, and displaying images for personal enjoyment. Images may not be sold, altered, or used commercially without written permission.

When sharing online, please credit Ryora Studio whenever possible—e.g. “Photography by Ryora Studio.”

With your consent, selected images may be used for Ryora Studio’s portfolio, website, or social media. Prefer to keep everything private? Let us know in writing before or after your session and your images will remain confidential.

Your comfort and safety are paramount. Please supervise children at all times. While every precaution is taken, Ryora Studio cannot be held responsible for accidental injury, loss, or damage during a session.

Printed products (Fine Art prints, albums, photo books) are custom-made and non-refundable once ordered. Reprints or replacements can be arranged through Ryora Studio to maintain colour accuracy and quality.

Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from purchase and are non-refundable. They may be transferred to someone else but cannot be exchanged for cash.

By proceeding with payment, you confirm that you’ve read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. They’re in place to ensure a transparent, respectful, and enjoyable experience for everyone.
